September, 2022 - Jack McCune reports for CBS affiliate WTAJ on ongoing developments at Remember Me Rose Garden, led by president Clay Mankemeyer, coordinator John Vento and a host of dedicated volunteers. Stephen also brings his expertise and creative energy to help realize this vision by 9/11 families to make a living memorial of beauty and tranquility dedicated to the lives lost and the heroism of passengers and crew on United Flight 93 over Central PA on Sept. 11, 2001.

August 2021 - Gardening expert/author Thomas Christopher welcomed Stephen on his Growing Greener podcast for a timely conversation about "Growing Roses Without Chemicals."

June 2021 - Megan Byrnes, programs manager at Morris-Jumel Mansion, the oldest residence in the borough of Manhattan, is joined by Stephen Scanniello and author Anna Angeladakis for a Virtual Parlor Chat celebrating NYC’s Heritage Roses and Community Gardens.
March 2020 - Rose Chat Podcast hosts Chris VanCleave and Teresa Byington engage Stephen in an important discussion of the growing threat posed by rose rosette disease to rose growers around the world.

June 2014 - Stephen turns a spotlight on the Peggy Rockefeller Rose Garden, one of the most popular destinations at the New York Botanical Garden. During peak bloom times from May to October, visitors can find more than 650 varieties of roses. The collection features heritage varieties for their rich history and intoxicating perfumes, as well as modern hybrids selected for their stunning beauty, vigor and resistance to pests and disease. The sights and scents are dazzling.
